Why Golden Herd

Not another
powder bar.

Most protein bars start with a scoop. Ours starts with food.

Golden Herd turns aged Parmesan into a savory-sweet performance bar with a short ingredient list and a flavor that doesn't taste engineered.

21

Grams of protein

From a food that already knows protein.

Aged Parmesan is the first ingredient—not a dusting, flavor, or marketing line. It is the bar.

The formula

Six ingredients.
Nothing hiding.

Every ingredient earns its place. Tap or hover to see why.

  • 01

    Aged Parmesan

    The protein-rich foundation

Real aged cheese gives Golden Herd its savory depth, satisfying texture, and complete dairy protein.

It is listed first because it is first. Aging is what makes it work in a bar — the cheese has already given up most of its water, so it arrives concentrated in both flavor and protein, with no powder needed to prop it up. Contains milk.

  • 02

    Mixed berries

    Bright, tart contrast

Freeze-dried raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries bring concentrated fruit flavor without watering down the bar.

Freeze-drying takes out the water, not the fruit. That keeps the berries sharp against the salt of the Parmesan, and keeps the bar firm instead of soft.

  • 03

    Cashews

    A smooth, lasting bite

A small amount of cashew adds body, texture, and a mellow finish.

Cashew is the quietest of the six. It rounds the edge between cheese and fruit so the bar reads as one flavor rather than three competing ones. Contains cashews.

  • 04

    Maple syrup

    Just enough sweetness

Real maple balances the Parmesan and berries without turning the bar into candy.

One sweetener, not a stack of them. Maple earns its place because it brings its own flavor — caramel, a little wood — instead of only bringing sweetness.

  • 05

    Coconut oil

    Clean structure

A touch of coconut oil helps every real ingredient come together in one satisfying bar.

It sets firm when cold, which is why the bar is best served chilled. It is also why there are no gums or binders further down the label — there is no further down the label.

  • 06

    Vanilla extract

    The finishing note

Vanilla rounds out the savory-sweet flavor and lets the berries shine.

The last thing in and the smallest amount used. Vanilla lifts the berries and softens the finish, so the savory note lands as intended rather than as a surprise.

The difference

Real food.
Real fuel.

Built for training and real life. The same bar that works after a session works in a bag, on a plane, or at four in the afternoon when lunch was a long time ago.

The founder's note

We started with the cheese, not the macros.

Golden Herd began with a wedge of aged Parmesan and a question nobody in the protein aisle was asking.

Every bar on the shelf begins the same way: choose a powder, then spend years engineering a flavor on top of it. We went the other direction. We started with a food people have been eating for centuries — already savory, already satisfying, already carrying protein — and asked what it would take to make it travel.

The answer turned out to be five more ingredients. Freeze-dried berries for contrast. Cashews for body. Maple for balance. Coconut oil to hold it together. Vanilla to finish. Nothing else made the cut, because nothing else needed to.

Keep it cold. Eat it chilled. That is the whole instruction manual.

Questions

Fair
enough.

Cheese in a protein bar raises questions. These are the ones we get most.

Yes — aged Parmesan is the first ingredient, not a dusting or a flavor note. It is the protein foundation of the bar, which is why Golden Herd needs no protein powder to reach 21g.

Savory-sweet. The salt and depth of aged Parmesan sits against tart freeze-dried mixed berries, with maple for balance and vanilla to finish. It tastes like food, not like something engineered to taste like food.

Because we did not need one. Most bars start with an isolated powder and then work backwards to make it edible. Golden Herd starts with a food that already carries protein and builds the flavor around it — 21g of protein, 0 protein powders.

It is made with real cheese and held together with coconut oil, both of which are at their best cold. Keep it refrigerated and serve it chilled — that is when the texture and the flavor are exactly right.

Six ingredients: aged Parmesan, freeze-dried mixed berries, cashews, maple syrup, coconut oil, and vanilla extract. That is the whole list.

Yes. Golden Herd contains milk and cashews. Final nutrition, claims, and packaging remain subject to commercial production testing.
